The Best Time to Visit Morocco, Month by Month

March to May is the sweet spot: warm cities, green valleys, wildflowers in the Atlas and comfortable desert nights. September to November is nearly as good and slightly quieter.

June to August is hot inland — Marrakech and Fes can pass 42°C. Head to the coast instead: Essaouira, Agadir and Taghazout stay breezy, and the surf is beginner-friendly.

December to February brings snow to the High Atlas and cold, clear desert nights. It is the best time for photography and low-season pricing, but pack properly for the Sahara after dark.

Ramadan shifts opening hours and the mood of the medinas — it is a special time to visit, though some restaurants close during the day. Tell us your dates and we will plan around it.
